Lauren Walsh is the Chief Financial Officer & Portfolio Manager of Sound Mark Partners. In this role, she is responsible for corporate finance, reporting, tax and treasury activities. Ms. Walsh oversees the preparation of the Fund’s financial statements, capital calls and distribution notices. In addition, Ms. Walsh monitors the Fund’s cash position and current liquidity. Ms. Walsh also provides oversight of the Fund and Firm external audit and tax relationships.

In addition to operational responsibilities, Ms. Walsh plays an active part in the investment process at Sound Mark Partners. She is involved in initial deal review, asset level underwriting, due diligence and preliminary deal sizing. Ms. Walsh is also involved in the asset management of current investments.

Prior to joining Sound Mark Partners in 2013, Ms. Walsh was a Senior Associate at CBRE Capital Partners where she held a similar role.

Ms. Walsh holds a B.A. in Economics from Boston University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
